One Utah man learned a hard lesson about shitposting too close to the sun this week, getting shot and killed by the FBI after making several social media threats against Joe Biden and other government officials ahead of the President’s visit to the Beehive state.

On Wednesday morning, FBI agents raided Craig Robertson’s home after he had made a series of menacing posts targeting multiple government figures while hinting he was working to take his hatred offline, one official told ABC News.

Though Robertson frequently singled out the President with his threatening statuses — “I HEAR BIDEN IS COMING TO UTAH. DIGGING OUT MY OLD GHILLE SUIT AND CLEANING THE DUST OFF THE M24 SNIPER RIFLE,” he wrote in one post — he also took aim at the FBI, who had visited his home for questioning earlier in the year.

Back in March, agents arrived at Robertson’s house to speak with him about some of his social media activity, per CNN. Though he initially responded with several vague statements, including “it was a dream” and “don’t return without a warrant,” per an affidavit, he later doubled down on these harsh words, expressing his anger on social media.

“TO MY FRIENDS IN THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF IDIOTS: I KNOW YOU’RE READING THIS AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW CLOSE YOUR AGENTS CAME TO ‘BANG.’” he wrote in an all caps post.

He later reiterated what, exactly, the FBI would face if they decided to revisit his home.

“Hey FBI, you still monitoring my social media?” he asked.  “Checking so I can be sure to have a loaded gun handy in case you drop by again.”

So take it from Robertson — any threat you can make, the FBI can make better.
